Whilst exhibitions rely on a visceral, emotional response from audiences, the books which accompany them seek to give context and deepen understanding.
Curator, Luca Trevisani and specialist publisher Humboldt Books, briefed us to capture the spirit of the surreal 'Raymond' exhibition, with its labyrinthine itinerary of fine art.
We responded by creating a hypothetical travel guide to navigate the works, suggesting travel to distant realms. The book’s structure was organised using different psychedelically bright paper stocks to provide a comprehensive guide to its eccentric, artistic contents.
